BETA BETA BETA
Beta Omicron Chapter

The purpose of the Beta Beta Beta Biological Honor Society is to function as an honor and professional society for students of the biological sciences. Its activities are designed to stimulate interest, scholarly attainment and investigation in the biological sciences.
Beta Beta Beta has a scholarship available for qualified applicants who wish to engage in original research.
In order to become an active member of the Beta Beta Beta Biological Honor Society, a student must fulfill the following requirements:

1. Academics: A student must have completed three semesters of biology. The student's major must be in one of the biological sciences (biology, marine biology, psychobiology, microbiology, biochemistry or molecular biology).

2. GPA: A member must have an overall and biology grade point average of 3.0.

There are two types of membership, active and associate. An associate member is defined as one who is interested in the biological sciences, but does not meet all the requirement of active membership (academic, GPA and those majoring in chemistry and physics). Upon completion of these requirements an associate member may become an active member. An active member must meet all of the above requirements.

Initiation dues are $60 (a one-time fee).
