These posted notes are not a substitute for attending class or reading the textbook! A great deal is said in class that never makes it to the electronic blackboard, and if you're not there, you'll miss it.

Here's a handy dandy STUDY GUIDE for EXAM I.

The first exam will be given on Friday, September 22 at 4pm in SA 126. (Yes, have a look at the course bulletin! Some exams are given on Fridays, but usually these days will be reserved for extra credit opportunities!).

Note that if you miss the exam and have a valid excuse, you may take a make up exam, but it will be all essay format on the same material as the multiple choice exam the rest of the class took. Better to drag yourself here and take the exam on the right day!

DON'T FORGET! The first of two EXTRA CREDIT VIDEOS will be shown on Friday, October 13! The show will start at 4:00pm in SA 145. Dr. Krempels will give everyone who attends a token. Bring that token to Exam II (next Wednesday) and exchange it for a question sheet worth a possible EIGHT POINTS OF EXTRA CREDIT! The sheet will have four questions from the material on the video, and each question is worth two points.

Here's a handy dandy STUDY GUIDE for THE FINAL EXAM.

The FINAL EXAM will be given on Wednesday, December 13 from 5:00 - 7:00pm in SA 126 (The regular lecture hall.)
If you miss the final exam, have a valid excuse and are passing the course at the time of the final, you will be given a grade of "I" (Incomplete) for the course, and have one year to take the final exam. If you fail to do so, the "I" will automatically change to an "F."
If you miss the final exam and are not passing the course at the time of the final exam, you will receive an "F" for the course. Bottom line: you can still salvage your grade if you at least show up. Study hard and go for it!
