Welcome to

Genetics and Society - BIL 104

...a one-semester tour for the non-science major to the basics of genes, how they work, and how biotechnology affects every day life.

The textbook is The Human Genome: A User's Guide, by Hawley & Mori.

However, there will be quite a bit of material that is not in this book, as there is not yet a really appropriate genetics textbook for non-science majors on the market yet! So pay close attention to your lecture notes, as well as the readings in your book.
