EVOLUTION AND BIODIVERSITY - BIL 160

Welcome to Evolution and Biodiversity,
a 14-week Tour of the Evolutionary processes that produced
the diversity of life surrounding us.

LAST CHANCE FOR ALL MAKE UP EXAMS IS TUESDAY, APRIL 30 AT 3:00PM IN SA 110. Please email me to tell me you're coming, and which exam you will be making up. If you are taking two make up exams, please also come on MONDAY, APRIL 29 AT 3:00PM to SA 110. Also email me the day before to tell me you're coming and which exam you'll be taking.

  • Spring 2002 Lecture Notes
  • Spring 2002 Workshops
  • Evolution and Biodiversity Laboratory For a "print friendly" version of this page (complete with syllabus), click HERE.

  • Your Instructor this semester will be Dr. Dana Krempels.

You can reach her by phone at (305) 284-3977, but will probably get a faster response via email at dana@miami.edu.

Office hours are from 10:00 - noon on Tuesdays and Thursdays, or by appointment at a time that's mutually convenient. Please send me an email to set up a meeting.

The textbook is Biology by Campbell, same as for BIL 150.

Here's the syllabus for Dr. Dana Krempels' Spring 2002 Evolution & Biodiversity Course. This schedule is a rough guide to what we'll be covering this semester, and is subject to constant revision, as circumnstances require and as time permits.
