Duncan the Mild
January 20, 1995 - March 5,
1997
Duncan was abandoned at our veterinarian's office when he was only 3 days
old. Pink and hairless, he began to show his fawn spot coloring after
only two days of bottle feeding. He became best buddies with Gryphon the
Mighty, his idol and hero. After Gryphon died, Duncan became quiet
and sad. It was only a few months later that he left us to run with his
Great Brother.
At the tender age of four days, Duncan was already doing his best Jean Luc
Picard impression.
But he fuzzed up...
...quickly!
Although generally shy and studious, Duncan was not above telling ribald
jokes about Maggie. We hope Gryphon and Duncan are sharing jokes still,
and running swift and strong in that Meadow where the grass is always
green, and there's enough territory for everyone.
