Nala the Valiant
August 9, 1994 - May 22, 1997
Nala was the daughter of Gryphon the
Mighty and a Dutch mix LadyBun named
Sally. Nala's was an agouti beauty--same as her wild cousins. Regal and
valiant, Nala was the unchallenged Queen of the Clans. Ask us
about the time this lioness bunny took on a 'possum--and won. (Don't try
this at home, kids!)
Sometimes it's just love at first sight. Obie and Nala
fell in love when Nala was just a wee six week old fluffkin, and Obie a
fierce warrior bun who cowed the rest of Nala's siblings in their adoption
holding area. She's the Lioness, and he, the Certified Public
Accountant. (Actually, CPA's can be pretty fierce when aroused.)
Although a true Queen, Nala was always very gentle with her human and
rabbit friends. She was exceptionally easy to "trance"--and seemed to get
a little smile on her face when fully relaxed.
When Nala passed over the Rainbow Bridge, a remarkable thing happened. Let
us tell you about Nala's Flight of Birds...
Now that Nala has gone to the Rainbow Bridge, Obie finds love and comfort
in the Great White Pillowness of Rain. Both
Obie and Rain miss their beautiful Queen, as do we. She will always be a
part of us...
