His face and eyes were so encrusted with mite debris that he could barely open his eyes. His toes were splayed from the mange, and his belly and genitals were covered with crust and scabs. His ears were so badly covered with mange that they were three times as thick as normal, and were tender to the touch. Someone had even cut off his little cotton tail.
After one treatment with injectible Ivermectin (what a wonderful drug!), Tyler's crusts began to drop off as the mites died. His skin was angry and red the first day, but gradually calmed down with applications of Calendula/lanolin creams...

After three treatments with Ivermectin, the mites were gone and Tyler's soft white fur grew back completely. Look at this handsome little guy! It's no wonder that silky, black Natasha fell in love with him.

Tyler and 'Tasha are now completely bonded. They are both friendly and
cuddly ('Tasha will follow you around the house to make sure you're not
hiding a treat!), have wonderful
litterbox habits and are ready for That Special Person to take them home
to live and love forever. For more information on how to adopt Tyler and
'Tasha, please call (305) 666-BUNN or email Miami Chapter Manager Dana
